About

Always More to Hear is an owner operated consulting business in the music industry. I, Jamie Freedman, enjoy wearing multiple hats and have worked with various entertainment organizations including bands (Pomplamoose, The California Honeydrops), venues (The Revolution Cafe), start ups (Hear it Local, Under the Golden Gate), Performing Arts Organizations (Stanford Live, The Kennedy Center), documentarians and photographers as clients.

I have helped to create, build and maintain a digital and community presence using social media, community management, digital and traditional marketing tools as well as outreach and PR.

I am also the Vice President of the all women's a cappella chorus Conspiracy of Venus.

I earned a master's degree in Ethnomusicology from The University of Texas at Austin and undergrad degrees in Music History and History from the University of Michigan. I wrote my master's thesis on Gospel Brunch in Austin, Texas and the commercialization of gospel music.
